Oh Yes! Not Broken, Just Bent!

I found it interesting that barely 4 hours after I had told somebody  "I may never fall in love again but  I will continue being in love,"  I found myself gripped by a video posted by a friend on my Facebook page.

The video shows a group of young-er people singing (acapella towards the end of the song) "Just Give Me a Reason."

The group sang so well I thought I'd share the video with you.

What synchronicity!  The video did not come to my attention by accident. And neither is it coincidence that you are reading this now.

Isn't the universe SIMPLY awesome?

Listen, if nobody has told you recently, you and I, We are beautiful!

Love is wonderful!

Oh yes!

  2. My first reaction was to post the song "I'll Never Fall In Love Again"; but then why enter negative thoughts into such an uplifting blog. Keep it positive, enjoy the moment[s].

    1. Love is the only reality. We are love. The whole universe/God/the Life Force/the Collective Consciousness -- all love. If there was anything I learned from my relationships it is to always be in the Light of Love, with everyone! Forgiveness, compassion, acceptance, kindness, patience, etc., are very much a part of that. Thank you Mary for your comment.

  3. I've never ever said that I would not fall in love again & my failures in marriages never made me doubt that love conquers all! We don't have to learn to love again - just continue to love as we always have, regardless of any failures with another.

    1. There is always something good to be learned from relationships, even failed ones. And even from those that have caused us pain and brought us into darkness. It's a matter of perspective and choice. One can choose to be bitter and cynical. Instead, I choose to be in the Light. And where there is Light, there is no room for bitterness and pain; only peace and joy. I choose to see Love as the only reality. Everything else is illusion. So why bother agonizing? Why bother being anxious? I trust in the universal consciousness of Love. Differences in politics, religion, etc. persist if not seen from the eyes of love. Love takes down barriers to a love and light-based consciousness and the reality that we are all One (not separated from each other) and need to live from that perspective. And that means a lot of forgiveness, acceptance, kindness, patience, etc.. LOVE! I am grateful for what I have learned and continue to learn from my experiences. I embrace the adversities I've been through. I am grateful for wisdom!

  4. A comment from Mark Shapiro emailed to me: Love is real only when it includes everything; when nothing is excluded. It is all encompassing, limitless, and eternal. That's not to say that relationships are valueless, for they can be great teachers. Most people think that romance and the passion that go with it is Love. Typically, it is a thing called 'special love', based on hidden agendas and hope. After time has elapsed, the hidden parts begin to emerge. The song of a new special love is "You make me so happy". Looking at this title, one can clearly see the seeds of co-dependency. It won't be long until the song changes to "You done me wrong". The reason this is called special love is because the love I feel is only for you and not anyone else. You are special to the exclusion of everyone and everything I say is not loveable. Saying to your partner that they complete you is not a compliment; It is throwing down a gauntlet. Is this a loving thing to do?
